Wizz Air celebrates its new destinations
Two reasons for celebrating today at Cologne Bonn Airport: the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air started its new connections from Cologne/Bonn to Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to Craiova in Romania.
At 1515 hours exactly, the Wizz Air Airbus A320 took off on its first flight to Tuzla. Just half an hour earlier an aircraft of the same type set off for Craiova – this service has been on offer from Cologne/Bonn for ten days. There will be flights to these cities from Cologne/Bonn twice a week, Mondays and Fridays.
“We are delighted with the new offer by Wizz Air at the Airport. These two destinations are a welcome extension to our route network in South-east Europe,” said Airport CEO Michael Garvens.
Tickets for both destinations are available on the airline website ( www.wizzair.com) from 19.99 Euros one-way.
Wizz Air flies out of Cologne/Bonn to eight destinations. The airline is one of the largest European low-cost carriers with a fleet of 74 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, which fly to more than 130 destinations in 40 countries.
