To the Cape of Good Hope
Non-stop from Cologne/Bonn to the Cape of Good Hope – from November Eurowings will have an additional destination in its low-cost long-haul route network: Cape Town in South Africa. Once a week, an Airbus A330 will fly to the city at the foot of the Table Mountain. With an annual 3,700 hours of sunshine and surrounded by breath-taking landscape, Cape Town is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
“This year with the service Cologne/Bonn – Cape Town, we are delighted to be able to offer a second attractive destination in Southern Africa,” said Airport CEO Michael Garvens. Starting in July, Eurowings will be flying to Windhoek in Namibia twice a week. “Our Airport schedule has the only direct flights from North-Rhine Westphalia to Cape Town and Windhoek. In the meantime our passengers can choose from a wide range of dream destinations worldwide.”
Tickets to Cape Town can be booked from 299.99 Euros one-way on the airline website ( www.eurowings.de). The outgoing flight is from Cologne/Bonn on Sunday afternoon and the return flight Mondays. The flight time is 12 hours.
Globetrotters, who don’t want to wait until autumn, can find many attractive destinations in the Eurowings summer timetable. The low-cost airline already has 13 long-haul destinations in summer, including the Caribbean, Asia, and the USA. Newcomers in the flight schedule are Las Vegas, Seattle and Orlando (USA), Havana (Cuba), Montego Bay (Jamaica) and Windhoek (Namibia).
